About Touch Line Bets

Touch Line Bets is run by Sam, a UK-based founder who came to betting through matched betting and the maths side of the market — not through tipster hype. The site is built on one belief: the only betting content worth reading is content that's honest about how betting actually works, losing runs included.

Two ways. First, affiliate links: when you sign up to a bookmaker through one of our links (marked #ad), we may earn a commission. That never changes the price you get or the offers available to you. Second, Touch Line Pro: an optional paid subscription to our odds scanner. That's it — we don't sell your data and we don't sell 'guaranteed winner' tips, because they don't exist.

That we win every week (nobody does). That a bet is a 'sure thing' (none are). That betting is a way out of financial trouble (it isn't — see our responsible gambling page). Our scanner finds prices that are mathematically out of line with the sharp market; over a long run that's an edge, but any single bet — and any single month — can lose. We've published exactly that from our own testing.

The scanner logic was validated on 44,051 real historical football selections against Pinnacle closing prices: selections flagged at +EV ≥ 2% returned +6.35% ROI over 2015–2024, with the returns climbing in a clean staircase the bigger the flagged edge. Markets keep sharpening, so we treat every edge as something to keep re-proving with data — never as a promise. That standard is the whole brand.
